How Local Nonprofit Uses Visual Identity to Support Fundraising

We partnered with the Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) in Boulder to create a compelling visual identity that captures the essence of their upcoming fundraising event, “Night at the Derby” in order to promote the event while remaining true to the brand.

This celebration gala is an annual fundraiser EFAA throws, with a new and exciting theme each year. For Night at the Derby, our designers came up with a combination of retro illustrations, bold patterns, and color blocks paired with elegant but simple typography to present the iconic derby imagery.

EFAA has worked as a community safety net for families in need since 1918. They provide food, shelter, and support for families who have nowhere else to turn and empower them to work towards a better future.
