Employee Spotlight: Sean Sharpless

Meet Sean Sharpless, Anthem's Director of Client Services, featured this week in our Employee Spotlight series.

Q: Please give me a description of what your position entails at Anthem Branding.

SS: My role is to ensure that our clients have the best possible experience working with us. This includes managing our team’s resources and solving problems that help our clients better connect with their employees, customers, and fans.

What is your favorite part of your job?

We have the most awesome clients! Many of them are leaders in communities and cultures that I’m passionate about like outdoor recreation, environmental stewardship, good food, beverages, music, and pets!

Who had the most influence over you?

What color best represents your personality and how does that color make you feel?

Blue. It makes me feel calm although people that know me would probably say otherwise ????

How would your best friends or family describe you in three words?

Passionate, Energetic, Loyal.

What is your favorite activity to do locally and why?

Mountain biking with my friends, family, and dogs. Do I really need to say why?

What is your favorite local restaurant?

I haven’t really lived in Colorado for that long but one of our clients suggested Yak and Yeti for awesome Indian Food in Old Towne Arvada and I love it. They also have a buffet which is great for an active lifestyle.

Best concert you have ever attended?

Austin City Limits Festival in 2013; had an incredible line-up that year. Others include Kendrik Lamar, Arctic Monkeys, and The National.

Where’s your favorite place in the world?

Topsail Island, NC. It’s the one place that allows me to truly decompress with my family.

Favorite podcast?

"The Dropout" by ABC Radio and ABC News Nightline, which unfolds the story of the fall of Silicon Valley's medical device company, Theranos and the scandal surrounding the former founder and CEO Elizabeth Holmes.
