The historic Comet Press print shop will be renovated to become a new taproom to serve up their artisan brews and embrace the family heritage.

Family connection

Created from an undeniable love of craft beer and a thirst to keep a family legacy alive, Comet Brews is a family-run business where beers are named for family members, which helps connect guests to the brewery’s crew on an emotional level.

Vintage print vibe

Our goal working with the Comet crew was to tell an authentic brand story that distinguishes the brewery inside a crowded landscape. Representing the path from past to present, the branding pays homage to the local community with a vintage, time-worn look.

The hop lamppost and muted color story introduce a sense of tradition, where the custom type references Comet Brews’ dedication to artisanal craftsmanship.

The tap room itself provides an interesting and unique environment to compliment each of the brews, which are deeply rooted in tradition and history.

All about Littleton

Celebrating the heritage of the historic town of Littleton, the brewery’s visual identity has a classic, old-school vibe that evokes a nostalgic feeling.

Engrained within the brand is the desire to connect locally through beverages inspired by family, bringing in aspects of Littleton and its community whenever possible. This is brought in through the brand’s logo, where the letterforms fit, flow, and merge together — highlighting the importance of friends and family, and an all-inclusive tribe-like community.
